Pre-purchase and other types of surveys are undertaken including residential and
commercial properties of any age.
Insurance valuations:
Valuations to assess the rebuilding costs in the event of damage or destruction by insured
risks are undertaken to all types of property.
Party wall matters:
This type of work is an increasing section of the business especially now that the Party Wall
Etc. Act 1996 has extended legislation from London to the whole of the country.
Dilapidations schedules:
End of lease schedules can be prepared and negotiations conducted both on behalf of the
landlord and the tenant.
Planning and Building Regulation approvals:
Works of refurbishment variably require planning and/or listed building consent and
Building Regulation approvals and the practice undertakes such applications and
negotiations with the appropriate Authorities.
Other building related matters:
All other building surveying work is undertaken on a regular basis including advice on
repairs, building disputes/ professional witness, etc., and a further specialisation working in
conjunction with a specialist consultancy is surveying matters related to hotels, inns and
other licensed premises.
